Containment, not screening
Chain link isn't asked for the same reason a privacy fence is. Nobody wants a chain link run because they want to hide the yard from the street. They want it because something needs to stay inside a line, or something needs to stay out of one. That covers a lot of ground around Warner Robins: a play yard for kids, a dog run off the back porch, a work area around a shed or a shop, the back boundary of a lot that borders a field or a neighbor nobody's met yet. The fabric does the job of a wall you can see through, which is exactly what those spaces need and a privacy panel doesn't give you.
What actually keeps a dog inside the line
A chain link fence fails one way almost every time, and it isn't the fabric. It's the top rail sagging enough that a dog gets a paw over it, or a bottom edge that's crept up off the ground far enough to slip under. Both of those come from the same root cause: posts and tension that weren't set right the first time. Terminal posts, the ones at every corner and gate, carry the pull of the whole run, and if they're undersized or under-set the line stretches and sags within a season no matter how good the fabric is. We size terminal posts to the run they're anchoring and pull the fabric tight off them, because a chain link fence that's doing its job is one you stop noticing is even there.

When chain link is the honest answer
We'll talk a customer out of chain link as often as we talk them into it, in either direction. If the goal is privacy from a neighbor's window or the road, wood or vinyl does that and chain link never will, no matter what's woven through it. But if the real job is keeping a dog on the property, marking a back boundary that runs along woods or a field, or fencing off a work area where you need to see across it, chain link gets that done for less money and less upkeep than a solid run, and it doesn't rot, warp or need staining. The honest answer depends on what the fence actually has to do, not on which one looks more finished from the road.
