What we build

Fence, gates, decks and shade, set to the ground they stand in.

Eric and Nikki Jones have been setting fence line and building outdoor structure across middle Georgia since 2006. Eight kinds of work, one crew, the same corners-first method on every run. Read about the people behind the work on the about page, or call ahead and Eric will come look at the ground before he quotes anything.

Board on board wood privacy fence with arched top panels and post caps beside a brick home in Warner Robins

Board on board and dog ear, flat, arched or scalloped.

Wood Privacy Fences

The run most of middle Georgia asks us for. Board on board where you want no gaps at all, dog ear where you want the classic line. Flat tops, arched tops, scalloped tops, cap and trim if you want the finished edge. Posts set to the ground you actually have, not the ground a diagram assumes.

Three rail ranch fence running into the treeline at golden hour in middle Georgia

Three rail runs for pasture, paddock and frontage.

Ranch Rail Fencing

Three rail fence for acreage, pasture line and road frontage. It is the run you see from the road, so it has to be straight over distance and it has to stay straight when the ground moves. We set the corners first and pull the line off them, because a ranch rail run that wanders is visible from a quarter mile away.

Long tan vinyl privacy fence run under a deep blue Georgia sky

Long privacy runs that need no staining.

Vinyl Fencing

Vinyl privacy fence for people who want the height and the screening without a staining weekend every few years. It holds a clean line over a long run and it does not grey out. We set the posts the same way we set timber, because vinyl panels only look as straight as the posts carrying them.

Timber privacy fence line behind a willow tree on mown grass

Boundary and containment fence that does its job.

Chain Link Fencing

Chain link where the job is containment and boundary rather than screening. Yards, dog runs, work areas and back boundaries. It is the least glamorous fence we build and the one people most often need done properly, because a chain link line that sags at the top rail is a fence a dog gets over.

Arched top timber gate with black strap hardware set into a privacy fence run

Single and double drive gates, built to the opening.

Custom Gates

The gate is the part of a fence that moves, so it is the part that fails. We build gates to the opening rather than fitting a stock leaf and hoping. Single walk gates, double drive gates wide enough for a mower or a truck, hardware chosen for the weight it actually has to carry. One customer asked for a cut in window so the dogs could see out, so that is what got built.

Newly built timber deck with steps on a brick ranch home beside an inground pool

New decks, and repairs to decks that are still sound.

Decks

New decks with steps, railings and landings, and repair work on decks that have good bones and bad boards. Same discipline as the fence work: the frame decides everything, so the frame is where the time goes. If a deck only needs boards and rail, we will tell you that rather than sell you a rebuild.

Timber pergola with a fitted tan shade canopy over a flagstone patio

Timber pergolas with fitted shade canopies.

Pergolas and Shade Structures

A pergola over a patio, with a fitted fabric canopy if you want real shade rather than a pattern of stripes on the floor. Posts, beams and rafter tails cut and set on site. It is the piece of work people sit under every evening, so the proportions matter more than they do on a boundary fence.

Ranch rail fence line running along a road at dusk in Houston County, Georgia

Resetting, realigning, staining, tear down and haul away.

Fence Repair and Restoration

Leaning posts reset, runs pulled back true, gates that drag or will not latch put right, staining and restoration on fence worth saving, and tear down and haul away on fence that is not. We have corrected alignment problems that had been sitting in a yard for more than ten years, and we have moved posts another company put through something they should not have.

How it works

We come look at the ground before we quote it.

Middle Georgia clay moves. It swells in the wet months and pulls back in a dry August, and a fence set without allowing for that is the one whose gate stops latching a year in. Eric walks the line, checks the corners and the drainage, and quotes the work to the ground you actually have. Estimates are free on any style listed here. If you are not sure which fence fits your yard, tell us what the job is on the contact page and we will talk it through.

Call and he will come look at the ground first, because the ground is what decides how the fence gets built. Estimates are free on any style shown above.
